All of our practitioners are trained in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Currently, we offer medication management to each of our patients. All treatment by the PA and NPs is supervised by Dr. Amita Jha MD MPH.
We understand that not everyone can tolerate psychiatric medications and like all other medicines they do have side effects. We do our best to refer for alternative treatments eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), or, various forms of talk therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, couples therapy, relational therapies that can help in alleviating the symptoms.
Tele-Psych
We offer telemedicine appointments covered by health plans BCBS, CIGNA, AETNA, UHC, to all our clients. Our telemedicine appointments use a convenient, HIPPA compliant platform provided through Advanced MD.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is an innovative, non-invasive treatment for individuals struggling with conditions such as Depression, Smoking Addiction, and Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). TMS therapy delivers magnetic pulses to stimulate specific brain regions associated with these disorders, aiming to alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being.
At our practice, we tailor TMS therapy to our patient’s unique brain chemistry. We always prioritize patient comfort and safety.
Spravato (Ketamine)
Spravato- ketamine is an intranasal spray for individuals struggling with depression and anxiety that has not responded to other psychiatric medications. Spravato increases the production of glutamate improving mood regulation and brain function.***
